Other main competitors confirmed that on the track Saturday included Ruben Wright in his avoids Extreme Racing 2, 8 valve litre naturally aspirated Mk 1 Golf. Ruben hopes to improve on his personal best time of 12.6 seconds. Yaseen Ebrahim and Werner Kruger will again be in action at your Golf 6 GTi DSG in the hope of improving on their previous 12.3 second pass. Also watch for Leon Davids (13.89 sec Escort Mk1) and Michael Withers (15 sec BMW E46 330i). Brendon Moore hopes to be back in action after breaking an axis in the last event and BadBrad is working furiously to be back in their Mk1 Golf benefit.
Main competitors expected to return this weekend on two wheels included Heinrich Slamet in your GSXR 1000 K8 Suzuki (The Great White). Heinrich is pushing to improve his previous best of 9.2 seconds on the quarter mile. Garion Slamet is pushing on his Suzuki GSXR 750 K8 to improve at its impressive best of 9.3 seconds. Ralton Syce will also return in your Suzuki GSXR 750 K7 with a best time of 9.8 seconds. Richard Slamet will be making the trip from Namibia to fit your Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 in Killarney, in an attempt to improve their record of 8.9 seconds in the Namibia track.
